Inside CAMP DC
Book Club

If you enjoy reading books, gaining knowledge, and sharing it with your friends, then our Book Club is for you. We meet on a regular basis to discuss and share what we have learned from the book we are currently reading. Best of all, it is a great way to socialize with your fellow muslims.

Click here to learn more (some reading skills required; books sold seperately)

Coffee Club

Are you a caffeine junkie? Do you drink more than five cups of coffee a day? Perhaps you should seek help.

But if you enjoy hanging out after work and relaxing in the company of some friends, while consuming moderate amounts of caffeine, then you should email us to find out where we will be meeting next.

Next Event: What's Love Got To Do With It? Workshop
  • Where: University of Maryland (UMCP) 163 Campus Drive, College Park, MD View Map

  • Contact: Reham at (703) 626-3868 OR camp_dc@yahoo.com

In our Muslim community today, love is almost unrecognizable, marriages are easily broken, divorce is a common practice, families are becoming dysfunctional, iman is dwindling, and family ties are breaking. The dunyah has taken precedence in many people's lives over the akherah. In order to manage and potentially reverse this process, Islamic education and access to professional services is needed.

Join the DC Chapter of the Council of American Muslim Professionals (CAMP-DC) for our 2-day What's Love Got To Do With It Workshop as we invite Imams, Professionals, Experts, and our local community to share their personal stories, experiences, advice and learn from one another on how to bring back "family" back into our lives.

This family workshop is for youth, individuals, couples, families, social service providers, and the community at large.
